Dr. Kumar has been an investor, founder, director and CEO of several technology enterprises, both public and private. As CEO, he took CombiMatrix Corporation public and ran it for a decade while listed on the NASDAQ Global Market. He has worked in venture capital with OAK Investment Partners, and has been an advisor to investment funds, venture capital firms, and Fortune 500 companies. He was on the Board of Directors of Acacia Research Corporation from 2002-2008. Dr. Kumar is currently Chairman and CEO of Anixa Biosciences and he sits on the Board of other public and private companies. He has served on the Board of the American Cancer Society since 2016. He received his AB in Chemistry from Occidental College. After graduate studies at Stanford University and Caltech, he received his Ph.D. from Caltech and followed that with a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard.

Lew Titterton

Mr. Titterton previously served as a Director from August 2010 through August 2016, the last four years of which as Chairman of the Board. He also served as a Director from July 1999 to January 2003. Mr. Titterton's background is in high technology with an emphasis on health care. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of NYMED, Inc., a diversified health services company. Mr. Titterton founded MedE America, Inc. in 1986 and was Chief Executive Officer of Management and Planning Services, Inc. from 1978 to 1986. He holds an MBA from the State University of New York at Albany, and a BA degree from Cornell University.

Dr. Baskies, former Chairman of the national Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society, is a fellowship trained surgical oncologist with special interests in breast cancer, thyroid cancer, and melanoma. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa at Boston University, graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine, completed his surgical residency at Boston Medical Center, and received a fellowship in surgical oncology at the National Cancer Institute.

Emily Gottschalk is an experienced marketer with over 30 years of developing products for the consumer marketplace. She is the founder and CEO of The Garr Group, Inc, a diverse entertainment and new product development company that sells entertainment and general merchandise to the mass, specialty and on-line market. Mass retail customers include Walmart, Sam’s, Walgreens, Target, and others. Past partners include AARP, Intel, Walmart, Disney, Fox, Kellogg’s, Kraft and MLB. TGG, Inc identifies “white space” opportunities in the marketplace and defines and develops products that uniquely touch consumers’ lives. TGG is equally focused on brick and mortar, on-line and emerging distribution channels. Previously, she was Marketing Director of Zany Brainy, a children’s educational toy store that she helped launch. Since 1997, Ms. Gottschalk’s companies have produced over 150 million CD’s/DVD’s to the US retail market, developed a proprietary Android tablet called “RealPad, by AARP” with Intel and has created private label brands across the home, sporting goods and electronics market. She is a graduate of Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and serves on the board of Anixa Biosciences, a publicly traded biotechnology company. She is co-founder of the Mildred M. Soefer Foundation offering philanthropic support to Jewish causes and sick children, Entrepreneur in Residence for Cornell University and a strategic, marketing consultant to Jewish Federation of Southern NJ.
