AUO SETTLEMENT
On December 29, 2014, the Company and AU Optronics Corporation (“AUO”) entered into a Settlement Agreement, and a Patent Assignment Agreement, resolving a lawsuit filed by the Company against AUO in connection with the joint development and commercialization of the Company’s patented ePaper® Electrophoretic Display, and Nano Field Emission Display technologies. The Company received an aggregate of $9,000,000 from AUO, and transferred certain electrophoretic display patents to AUO.
